My name is James Wilson and you may be familiar with my revolutionary MTB Strength Training System. My programs have been used by riders around the world with amazing success. However, my e-manuals (The Ultimate MTB Workout Program and the MTB DB Combos 12 Week Program) have always had a drawback. Namely, they offer little in the way of true individualization and 1-on-1 coaching. Sure, not everyone wants or needs that high level of an experience but for those that do I had no real option for them.

A Workout Prescription vs. The Training Process

In order to take things to the next level I needed to develop an effective way to take things past simply giving a workout prescription and into the realm of experiencing the training process. Most of us are familiar with getting a workout prescription – this is when you simply follow a workout that has been given to you. Training articles in magazines, prepackaged workouts from a website or an e-manual are examples of workout prescriptions.

This is fine for the majority of people – these workout prescriptions are (hopefully) based on sound workout principles and experience with other riders/ athletes which means that they provide a good roadmap for you to follow. This is much better than having no plan at all and often times will deliver good results. However, this is not the same as experiencing the training process.

The training process recognizes that obtaining the best results possible is not a linear path – simply doing X exercises for Y number of sets and reps does not always equal Z. Instead, getting the best results possible is a true process, meaning that you must make adjustments based on your specific needs, both in general and as you progress through your workouts.

Your needs are different than anyone else’s and the simple prescription process can never account for this. However, there was no real way for me to take people through the real training process. I know that other "online training" websites exist but they are little more than a pre-packaged plan being delivered to you with poor demos and little to no individual instruction and adjustments. No one has gone outside of that formula to bring to you a true experience of working 1-on-1 with a real strength and conditioning coach…

Coaching is What Makes the Difference

…that is, until now. The MTB Strength Coach Online Facility is a true virtual extension of my training facility in Grand Junction, CO. This is the ultimate way to stay on the cutting edge and experience the training process. Getting individual coaching is what really separates the training process from the workout prescription.

With that fact in mind I have gone to great lengths to deliver a coaching experience that is second to none. Here are a few features that separate this website from anything else you have ever seen before:

· Have your form critiqued. This is the most unique and exciting aspect of the online facility experience. If you are not sure that you are executing an exercise correctly you can post a video of your form for me to critique. This revolutionary option will allow as close to 1 on 1 instruction as possible without me actually being there with you.

· Video demos of every exercise and drill. These high quality videos include demonstration of form, coaching cues to help with your focus and execution as well as explanations of common mistakes with suggestions on how to correct them. They are the exact same thing I tell my clients when explaining an exercise to them. It is very high level coaching that those with fanatical attention to form and focus will appreciate.

This is also much different than simply knowing "proper form". Knowing proper form is nice but it does not give you the mindset needed to really "train". The definition of training revolves around the acquisition of a skill – in this case we are working on the skills of strong and effective movement. There are Principles of Movement that you must be conscious of and refinement of those principles must be the focus of every rep of every exercise.

By understanding and focusing on the Principles of Movement you learn how to truly train movement patterns, not just go through the motions of an exercise. This deeper understanding and greater focus significantly increases to transfer of your gym time to your riding time.

· Monthly workouts posted with the ability to have them modified to meet your individual needs. If you have an equipment or physical restriction we can work together to make sure that you know how to safely and effectively modify the workout to meet your needs. This is exactly how I train the clients in my facility and reflects the process mentality that drives this training solution.

· Monthly coaching call. Each month I will schedule an online webinar in order to answer any questions you may have. I want to make sure that you are clear on what we are doing and what you need to be focusing on in order to get the results you hired me to deliver. If you miss the call it will be recorded and posted for you to listen to at your convenience.

· Client tools that will take your results from "good" to "great". Going well beyond the strength training aspect, the Client Tools will give you the knowledge and tools needed to make the most out of nutrition, supplements, recovery techniques and endurance training (conditioning). You will also get access to the Recovery Tracker I use to help my clients tune into how well they are recovering and avoid overtraining. There is also an Accountability Journal to help you keep track of everything. The more tools you can use to build the strength and endurance you are looking for the faster and better the results will be and these Client Tools are what will equip you with those tools.

· Exclusive Q & A area.
If you have a question about anything at all related to your training I will get you an answer. While you can obviously ask strength and conditioning related questions, you can also ask about other aspects of your training as well. Want some tips on mental preparation or skills training? Want to know if the latest "wonder supplement" has any merit? Want to know my opinion on a new bike part (I am a trained mechanic and used to manage a bike shop)? While a lot of my past articles are posted on www.MTBStrengthCoach.com , there are a lot of other things that are not. Past audio interviews, old Special Reports as well some exclusive new articles will only be available in this "member only" area.

Definitely Not For Everyone

By now some of you are starting to realize that this is way too much– and that is fine. This website represents a very high level training solution that is simply too in depth for most people. My e-manuals are perfect solutions for those who want results but are not looking for something this in depth.

However, for a select few individuals this is the training solution they have been waiting for. If you think you are in that group, I also want to let you know that this website is all about results. In order to make sure that I can consistently deliver the type of results that I want this website to be known for I have decided to cap the memberships at 75. Any more than that and I’ll run the risk of spreading myself too thin and delivering a sub-par experience. I am committed to putting member results above membership numbers.

Lastly, since the MTB Strength Coach Online Gym is all about delivering results I am going to put my money where my mouth is – literally. If you use this website and fulfill your commitment to me but you do not see noticeable results within the first 4 weeks I will give you not only give you your money back, I’ll throw in an extra $50 for your troubles.

Now, please note that this is a two way street and that you will have responsibilities as well. In order to qualify for this unheard of guarantee you must fulfill your end of the bargain. That includes:

· Gaining access to the required equipment for the workouts (you can find this essential equipment list on the FAQ page found by clicking here).

· Keeping and posting your training logs, Diet Tracking Grid and Accountability Journal once per week showing adherence to the program requirements (see below).

Just so you know the program requirements, each week you are looking at 2-3 strength training sessions (60 minutes each), 2-3 conditioning sessions (20-30 minutes each) and 4 recovery/ mobility sessions (15 minutes each), totaling 3 ½ - 5 ½ hours per week. This is not a huge time commitment for the level of results you are guaranteed to experience but it certainly is not 8 Minute Abs.

At $97 per month it is also not cheap. If price is the deciding factor for you then you won’t be happy with this training solution. However, if results are the deciding factor then you’ll know that $97 per month is a bargain. Heck, in most places you can’t get 2 sessions with a personal trainer for that price and I’ll bet they don’t guarantee results.
